Let’s learn together

Who it’s for
Elementary-aged children (approx. 5–11) who are developing literacy in English and/or additional languages. All levels are welcome.

What children will gain

  • Core literacy skills: phonological awareness, decoding/encoding, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension through explicit instruction and playful practice.

  • Cognitive development: working memory, attention, and cognitive flexibility strengthened with short, brain-friendly routines and games.

  • Multilingual advantage: strategic transfer across languages (sound-symbol mapping, morphology, cognates) to accelerate reading growth.

  • Creative confidence: songwriting, rhythm work, and dramatic reading to build voice, expression, and public-speaking ease.

How we teach

  • Evidence-based & structured: clear routines (I do → We do → You do), decodable texts, and cumulative practice.

  • Music-integrated: rhythm, call-and-response, and simple composition to internalize syllables, stress patterns, and fluency.

  • Playful & purposeful: stations for word play, writing, and inquiry; movement breaks aligned with attention science.

  • Inclusive & culturally responsive: children’s languages and backgrounds are assets we use to unlock meaning and motivation.
